Conduct meetings that have purpose and provide value for everyone. Stop meeting for the sake of meeting and start meeting with intention. A simple format to follow is:
Review - This is the time for numbers and tangible information.
Plan Ahead - Each team on each division should have goals, and each division should have a collective goal. It should be clear how these goals are aligning with the overall organization’s goals, and that they are all aligning with the mission and vision of the operations.
Reward Successes - Individual and Team - Celebrate, make new competition and give real, valuable rewards. Not a $5 gift card, but something that moves the winners toward their personal goals.
Highlight moves that make a difference - From the Review and Plan Ahead sessions highlight the 20% that are really going to move the needle. Create prioritization and excitement for the vision.
